Matthieu’s background
A native of Nice, Matthieu went the long way round before coming back. A Master 2 in Finance and wealth management at the Sorbonne, then estate-planning work at CFM in Monaco. In 2008 he set up an observatory of the Riviera luxury property market: the first time he put numbers to a market he knew by instinct.
Then came thirteen years at Bloomberg in London, running the France and later the Switzerland markets. Back in Nice, he founded a concierge business and a property-trading company.
What always brings him back to property is the ground itself. He knows Cap Ferrat, Cap d’Antibes and Mont Boron street by street, and he has bought, renovated and sold on his own account: the experience of an investor as much as that of an adviser. From international finance he kept the rigour of the analysis; from entrepreneurship, a sense of calculated risk.
